Lately, I have discovered several confetti themed works of art. They all have 2 things in common: there is confetti, and they are all beautiful.
The first piece I found that inspired me to look for more works that involve confetti is an installation piece called Confetti Death by Miami artist Typoe. This piece involves a floating skull that appears to be violently spewing large amounts of colorful confetti onto a white wall. The contrast of colors is beautiful and also helps highlight the “from death emerges life” theme.
Another piece of work that really drew me in was a photo called Ambience Carnaval. It is a black and white photo that features a man, smiling, completely covered in confetti. The subject is out of focus, which, when coupled with the other effects, provides a dreamy feel to the scene.
There are many more Confetti related works of art that I don’t have time to comment on, but it is definitely worth looking them up.
